A Gestalt-oriented way of thinking and an incremental optimization of local components within a complex, global, engineering-related overall system are among the toughest challenges to the industrial world. This induces high error rates and incalculable problems towards the end of the development planning. Large-scale projects can fail when some minor elements are worked on separately that will ultimately not function together.

We think in terms of functions and take this as a basis for developing the requirements of networked systems and components. The final shape (Gestalt) evolves from the demands on the function and eventually brings about the highest user-friendliness.
